Dolly Parton Imagination Library August 8th, 2014

dollypartonimaginationlibrary.jpbFranklin-Granville Vance Smart Start, with funding from the Vance County United Way, will be enrolling children in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library at the Perry Memorial Library on Friday, August 8th from noon until 5 pm. Children enrolled in the Imagination Library will receive an age appropriate book each month, mailed to them at their home. Parents, after enrolling their child, will be asked to read to their child as often as possible. The program strives to encourage reading to, and with your child, as well as helping children build their own personal library. Children can be enrolled as early as 1 month, with books continuing to come to the child at their home until age 5.
