Monday morning when ACTS opened up, they found that their basement was covered in water from a broken pipe over the weekend. Because of all the water they have no heat in the house, therefore they are unable to prepare food in the kitchen. They have also lost all of their supplies that were in the basement such as toilet paper, cups, plates, napkins, etc.
First Baptist Henderson will be allowing ACTS to serve food from their fellowship hall Tuesday. If your business can help supply meals, please call Twanna Jones at 252-572-3203 ASAP. ACTS will need approximately 100 meals…this also includes Meals on Wheels.
