On Friday, February 27, 2015 a volunteer working with the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society witnessed two individuals discarding items on a rural road in Southern Granville County. When the volunteer investigated, it was learned that the two individuals had discarded the bodies of three young pit bull terriers.
