Henderson Police Department Joint Operation Nets Cocaine Charges


Monday night, April 2, 2015, members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operations Unit, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and the North Carolina Law Enforcement Division conducted an investigation into illegal activities at 21 Spring Valley Road, Henderson. As a result of this investigation numerous charges have been brought against one individual.

Anastacio Bolanos, 42, 21 Spring Valley Road, Henderson, was charged with the following offenses: Manufacturing cocaine 3 cts; Possession of drug paraphernalia; Possession of a stolen firearm; Trafficking in cocaine-level 1; Maintaining a dwelling for keeping/selling a controlled substance; Possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and/or deliver cocaine 3cts; Sell and/or deliver cocaine 2 cts; Conspiracy to sell/deliver cocaine 2 cts; Trafficking in cocaine- Level 2; Maintaining a vehicle for keeping/selling a controlled substance 2 cts.

The investigation also turned up numerous counterfeit documents and revealed that Bolanos was in the United States illegally as he was a previously deported felon. Bolanos was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 265,000.00 secured bond pending a hearing in Vance County District Court on April 30, 2015. Information regarding the counterfeit documents and his immigration status has been turned over to Homeland Security. Additional charges are expected in this matter.
