Raleigh-Beginning June 1, NCDOT contractors will close the I-85 South on-ramp from U.S. 158 Business at the North Garnett Street intersection. The ramp will remain closed until early 2016. On Friday, May 15, 2015, members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operations Unit arrested two individuals on heroin related charges. United Airlines adding Denver nonstop to RDU, CLT
United Airlines announced last week it will launch nonstop service between Denver International Airport (DIA) and the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The twice-daily flight will start Sept. 13. VGCC Golf Tournament sets new record, raising more than $100,000
Vance-Granville Community College’s 31st annual Endowment Fund Golf Tournament, presented by Oxford-based Union Bank, generated $100,318 to help fund scholarships for deserving students and support the mission of the college.
