Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 at 11am the Wall That Heals will begin its escort from Love’s Truck Stop in South Hill Virginia. It will Arrive in downtown Henderson, NC later that day and setup near the American Legion lot on South Garnett Street. The exhibit will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 24/7. Sunday October 18th 9am will be the closing ceremony.

Isn’t this going to cause problems with the annual Show,Shag and Dine Car Show on Oct. 17th?
Not at all, if anything it will bring more people to both events. Also, everyone is welcome to come downtown today, on Garnett Street to welcome the escort. We expect it to come through downtown about noon today. Optimist Club has already set out flags all along the street. We encourage all to fill the sidewalks as it travels from North Garnett to South Garnett.
