Veterans Day is an opportunity to remember those who served. We must also remember that we serve our men and women in uniform.
Our veterans deserve the best possible healthcare. In 2014, I authored the Veterans Choice Act with Sen. McCain and Sen. Coburn to ensure veterans get the care they need. The Veterans Choice Act gives veterans access to care outside of the VA system when the VA is unable to accommodate their needs.
I take our responsibility to care for veterans seriously. I will continue to fight for veterans in the Senate.
