On May 30, 2009 at 4:00 a.m., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress at 667 Vance Street.

On May 30, 2009 Michael Winston stated that he was in the parking lot of Foxborough Pines Apartments when he was robbed at gunpoint and his bicycle was taken.

The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Human Resources Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, June 1, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. in the office of County Manager Jerry Ayscue. Ayscue’s office is located at 122 Young Street in Henderson. No agenda was given for the meeting.

On May 28, 2009, members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 432 Whitten Avenue.

Information coming from the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) suggests that a 10% cut in salary for state employees, including teachers, is on the table. I assume that if World War III starts sometimes soon that I won’t really care. If it doesn’t, I’ll just have to cut some more family members from the household budget. Here’s your open line.
