County responds to Von Williams grant request
During the report of the Vance County Board of Commissioners’ General Government Committee on Monday evening, County Manager Jerry Ayscue reported that the committee had determined that funding a private school was not a legal use of public money.

Rasheed asks city to participate in Zene St. project

The drafting class of Mr. Jeff Arthurs of Northern Vance High School presents its redesign of the downtown “Interiors” building to the Henderson City Council on Monday evening. Northern Vance High School Engineering & Architecture instructor Jeff Arthurs watched as students from his drafting class presented their drawings of architectural designs for the downtown revitalization of the “Interiors” building.
