Stolen semi-trailer Case On Monday, April 22, 2013, at approximately 0845, members of the Henderson Police Department responded to Parham Rd. in reference to a stolen semi-trailer. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Joan Miles Hargrove the driver for Expedited Logistics Solutions. Mr. Hargrove stated that he dropped the trailer in the empty lot, located adjacent to 200 Parham Rd.; the trailer was loaded with 45,069.33lbs.of new shingles. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced that Borghetti Turbos North America, Inc., a manufacturer of turbochargers, gas turbines, compressors and other related automotive parts, will open a new facility in Lincoln County. RALEIGH — A culvert pipe collapse caused by the on-rush of water from a collapsed beaver dam has closed Sam Moss Hayes Road, northeast of Creedmor in Granville County. It appears the recent heavy rain caused a buildup of water behind the dam, which was built at the culvert that carried a creek under the road. Structural Pest Control Committee recently approved the following settlement agreements for cases in Duplin, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Jackson, New Hanover, Pitt and Robeson counties.
