Employee’s Right to Medical Privacy
There is a bill currently in evaluation at the North Carolina Legislature that if enacted, would allow your employer rights to certain medical records if you become disabled or filing for workers compensation. The employer would not need the employee’s permission to access the records. Time Out Tuesday
Tuesday, April 12th area ‘volunteers’ will be put in Time Out in a child care center for one hour. To gain freedom once again, they must raise $250 by calling local citizens for pledges. Child care centers are in both Henderson and Louisburg with the Henderson location being Sugar N Spice on Horner Street. This activity is a fundraiser for the Franklin Granville Vance Smart Start organization.
