Entries in the 46th Annual Kerr Lake Art Show, co-sponsored by Vance-Granville Community College and the Kerr Lake Art Society, were judged and put on display for the public on the second floor of Building 7 on the college’s Main Campus in Vance County, June 11-15. N.C. Museum of Art gets still-life exclusive
A touring exhibition of more than 70 still-life paintings representing multiple masters will make its only U.S. stop at the North Carolina Museum of Art this fall. “Visual Feast: Masterpieces of Still Life from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston,” which opens Oct. 21 and runs through Jan. 13, 2013, will include works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse and Georgia O’Keeffe.
