Got to Be NC Festival seeks antique tractors, vendors, musicians
RALEIGH — Space is still available for farm-equipment hobbyists, musicians and food vendors wanting to take part in the Got to Be NC Festival May 16-18 at the State Fairgrounds. Organizers are looking for collectors of antique tractors and farm equipment to join a display of more than 1,000 pieces of machinery. Raleigh —As part of the N.C. Department of Transportation’s ongoing commitment to improving aviation in North Carolina, the N.C. Division of Aviation awarded $500,000 in State Aid to Airports funds to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for construction of Terminal 1 tarmac improvements. VGCC Names 330 to Dean’s List
Vance-Granville Community College has announced that 330 students earned Dean’s List honors for the fall semester that ended in December 2013. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student had to maintain a 3.5 grade-point average and have no grade lower than “B” while carrying at least 12 semester hours, according to VGCC Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs Dr. Angela Ballentine.
