On November 25, 2011 around 3:17 AM officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Royal Palace Hair and Nail Salon, 632 Corbitt Road, Henderson in reference to a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival officers found a broken window. Officers searched the business and located Kenneth Jerome Turner, 46, of 401 Charles Street, Henderson inside. DWI Charge for Porsche Wreck on Parker Lane
On Thursday, November 25 at 3:14 a.m. officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to a reported vehicle crash in the 900 block of Parker Lane. The vehicle, a 2007 Porsche Cayman was found wrecked in a wooded area off the roadway of Parker Lane. A driver was not present at the scene at the time officers arrived. Mary H. McMannen of Oxford, an Accounting Technician in the Business Office at Vance-Granville Community College, was recently honored by her peers in education.
