Council resolves to petition NC House on SB 1507
Council will ask that October 1, 2007 effective date be retained in final version of the Housing Conditions/Inspection bill Responding to the NC Senate’s passage of SB 1507 Housing Conditions/Inspection, the Henderson City Council voted in special session 5-2 to petition the NC House to retain an October 1, 2007 effective date that was included in an earlier bill.
Council sets another special meeting
The Henderson City Council will hold another special called meeting on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting will be to hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the City’s Minimum Housing Code.
