David Pitman of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division has been chosen as the Officer of the Month for July 2010.
County education committee meets tomorrow
The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Education Committee will meet tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in the officer of County Manager Jerry Ayscue. The committee is comprised of Commissioners Deborah Brown, Dan Brummitt, and Terry Garrison. No agenda was provided for the meeting. The county manager’s office is located in the County Administration Building, 122 Young Street in Henderson, North Carolina.
