Two Vance board of ed. committees to meet
The Vance County Board of Education’s Curriculum Committee will meet on September 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. The board’s Policy Committee will meet on September 17, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. The meetings will take place at the Administrative Services Center at 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson. No agenda were provided for the meetings.
Closing gaps commission rescheduled
The North Carolina Advisory Commission on Raising Achievement and Closing Gaps meeting, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., in the 7th Floor Board Room, Education Building, Raleigh, has been postponed to Friday, Oct. 24, same time and location. Questions regarding this meeting should be directed to the NCDPI Communications division at 919.807.3450.
