Vance-Granville Community College recently nominated Adam G. Rooker of Norlina, a student in the Criminal Justice Technology program, for the North Carolina Community College System’s Governor Robert W. Scott Student Leadership Award. Vance-Granville Community College will offer a two-hour class that provides opportunities for crafting unique, personalized gifts, just in time for Mother’s Day.  The “Hand-Stamped Jewelry” class is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. until noon in room 7107 (Building 7) on the college’s Main Campus in Vance County.
