The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Human Resources Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, June 1, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. in the office of County Manager Jerry Ayscue. Ayscue’s office is located at 122 Young Street in Henderson. No agenda was given for the meeting.

Information coming from the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) suggests that a 10% cut in salary for state employees, including teachers, is on the table.
