Need help getting affordable access to medicines?

Do you need help getting affordable access to medicines for yourself or your patients? Climb aboard the Partnership for Prescription Assistance Bus and find out if you qualify for on or more of 475 prescription assistance programs — many of which offer free or nearly free prescription drugs for those in need.

Maria Parham Medical Center has been selected as a stop for the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) Bus Tour as it makes its way across the nation. The Partnership for Prescription Assistance is a program that connects qualified, low-income people with discount prescription drugs, direct from the pharmaceutical manufacturer.

The PPA Bus is scheduled to arrive at Maria Parham at 12:00 on Tuesday, February 20th and depart at 3:00 pm.

US Senator Richard Burr is scheduled to visit the bus while it is at our hospital. The Senator is scheduled to arrive at approximately 1:45 p.m.

Demonstrations and on-site applications will be available. The “Help is Here Express” is equipped with computer terminals and mobile phones so people can find out (for free) if they may be eligible for help getting their medicines. There will be assistants on board to make sure the application process is quick and easy.
