County commissioners to meet on water, schools

A demonstration outside of the Vance County Sheriff’s Office yesterday in response to last week’s slaying of of convenience store clerk Sadeq Ali Mohammed Alashimali in Williamsboro. About twenty-five to thirty demonstrators were present for the noon rally, including the victim’s brother.

B & E Larceny of Motor Vehicle On August 26, 2008 at about 8:05 a.m., Mike Mosley of Toyota of Henderson, 415 Raleigh Road, reported that someone had broken into three motor vehicles on the lot.

On July 1, 2008 a breaking and entering occurred at 279 Kittrell Street in Henderson.

Home in Henderson received word early this morning that a rally will be held at 12:00 p.m. today in the parking lot of the Vance County Sheriff’s Office in response to the Friday night slaying of convenience store clerk Sadeq Ali Mohammed Alashimali in Williamsboro.
