by Amelia Aycock Vance County Schools Correspondent At the May 10, 2010 meeting of the Vance County Board of Education, Northern Vance High School Principal Brian Creasman introduced two programs integral to Northern Vance student life to the board: the Northern Vance High School Jazz Band (who played a few selection prior to the meeting) and the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (AFJROTC).

It is with no small amount of sadness that we say goodbye to Ms. Amelia Aycock. Ms. Aycock joined the Home in Henderson staff in 2009 and served as our Vance County Schools correspondent. Now that she is graduating from Northern Vance High School, she’s moving on to bigger and better things. We wish her all of the best in her future endeavors.

FCMHA raises $500 for Nat’l Alliance on Mental Health
