Henderson and Vance County are currently awaiting the arrival of their 16 & under All-Star softball team at the Aycock Recreation Center.
The team won the Babe Ruth World Series in its category earlier today.
At time of publication, a crowd was gathering to greet the champions. Their expected time of arrival is 5:45 p.m. today.
