A reminder this afternoon the Henderson Family YMCA hosts a local author book signing from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. R. J. “Bob” McCarthy, a 15 year YMCA member, will be in the YMCA front lobby August 1st from 5:30 – 7:30pm to promote his newly released book, QUARRY STEPS UP: A Tony Quarry/Carolina Mystery. 50% of the royalties from the books, sold at $11.99, will be donated to the YMCA. The YMCA is located at 380 Ruin Creek Road in Henderson.
