Cops on Top September 16, 2011


The Henderson Police Department, the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, and Chick-fil-A of Henderson will be holding their annual Cops on Top fundraiser on Friday, September 16, 2011, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Chick-fil-A on Dabney Drive .  This fundraiser is to raise money for the Special Olympics of North Carolina.

Law enforcement officers will be on the roof at Chick-fil-A as well as on the ground raising funds.  They will have t-shirts and hats available for a monetary donation.  There will be activities going on throughout the day. There will be free face painting, balloon art, and other activities compliments of Boho the Clown from Character Antics, the bomb robot from the Durham County Sheriff’s Office, a “Cow”aoke singing contest, and a Cornhole Tournament.  Winners of the “Cow”aoke singing competition and the Cornhole Tournament will win free Chick-fil-A for a year.
