Free physicals for student athletes will be given Wednesday, June 5, at Southern Vance High School. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.
The physicals are for interscholastic individuals and not recreational teams and are available to Vance County Schools’ student athletes, as well as student athletes from Kerr-Vance Academy, Crossroads Christian School and Victory Christian School.
Students must pick up a physical form from their school and have the parent questionnaire (front side) completed before arriving for the examination. Physicians will not perform physicals without that portion of the form completed by a parent or guardian.
For Northern Vance student athletes who would like to ride an available activity bus from Northern Vance to Southern Vance, students must be at Northern Vance to ride the bus by 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Each student must have with them the gold form with the necessary information completed by their parent. Each Northern Vance student, should have their parent/guardian arrange to pick them up at Southern Vance when their physical examination is completed.
