Children’s Book Week a success
The 18 winners gather at the party Nov. 18. A party crowned the celebrations of Children’s Book Week 2005 from Nov. 14 to 18, sponsored by the H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library, but participants enjoyed a wide variety of activities throughout the week. During the Henderson City Council meeting Nov. 14, the Public Safety Committee, chaired by City Council member Lonnie Davis, reported on several recommended changes.
City to improve drainage at Westover Terrace

Assistant City Manager Mark Warren appeared before the City Council on Nov. 14 to transmit a request from Earth Tech for a three month contract extension.
