The One North Carolina Fund helps Shalag US, Inc. expand its production facility in Granville County. The expansion will create 40 new jobs over the next three years. On Friday, February 27, 2015 a volunteer working with the Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society witnessed two individuals discarding items on a rural road in Southern Granville County. When the volunteer investigated, it was learned that the two individuals had discarded the bodies of three young pit bull terriers.
