The Southern Vance High School Mathematics Team competed in the 26th N.C. Regional Mathematics Contest on March 30 at Chowan University with two students placing in the top four in individual competitions. Shanece Kearney Arrested in New Jersey
In news from Millburn, New Jersey, at the retail store Nordstrom, a Shanece Kearney of Henderson N.C., used a credit card in March to charge $2,639 worth of merchandise and left the store. Later that day, Nordstrom received a call from a Nordstrom in Menlo Park stating that Kearney had been arrested by Edison police for attempting to use the same credit card, which belonged to another woman.
