Chief K.L. Sidwell of the Henderson Police Department reported that members of his department made an arrest on College Street after several complaints of drug activity were received from the area.

Over the past month there has been a serious problem with the recent theft of copper wire from air conditioners and any items that contains copper.

On January 17, 2007, at 12:01 a.m., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery with occurred at Boomerangs convenience store located at 1201 Dabney Drive.

On January 14, 2007, at 10:04 p.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Ambassador’s Inn, room 133, on 197 Parham Road.

** Updated January 15, 2008 8:13 p.m. ** Today, January 14, 2008, members of the Henderson Police Department responded to a call to Henderson Heights Apartments, unit number 36, in reference to someone shot.

On January 8, 2007, at approximately 8:51 p.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to 501 Old Epsom Road concerning a report of someone shot.

On December 31, 2007, the Henderson Police Department received a report of individuals using stolen credit cards at various business locations in the city.

On November 14, 2007, the Highway Traffic Safety Unit (HTSU) of the Henderson Police Department stopped a vehicle traveling south on Interstate 85 for a traffic violation.

Henderson Police Chief Keith Sidwell reported today that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on October 10, 2007 at the residence at 403 Mayo Street.
