VGCC Pins Largest Class of Nursing Graduates
Vance-Granville Community College recognized a record-high 55 students who graduated this spring from the Associate Degree Nursing program with a pinning ceremony in the college’s Civic Center on May 14. New Home Care Aide course offered at VGCC Warren Campus
Vance-Granville Community College will offer a Home Care Aide training course at the college’s Warren County Campus in Warrenton, May 27 through June 24. Classes are set to be held Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. This marks the first time that the course has been offered by VGCC. Children enrolled in the Child Care Center on Vance-Granville Community College’s Main Campus recently enjoyed a visit from Suzanne Cheever, a dental hygienist from the office of Dr. Wilson Hoyle in Henderson. Vance-Granville Community College is offering a Zumba fitness course on the college’s Main Campus in Vance County. The course will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m., Sept. 3 through Sept. 24. The total cost for the four classes is $20 (all fees included).
