On Tuesday, April 17, 2012 Officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to the area of Lehman Street in South Henderson in response to a suspicious subject. Henderson Area Family Holding Fundraiser For Four Year Old with Astrocytoma
Family and friends of four year old Makenzie Pendergrass, of the Middleburg Community in Henderson are hosting an online fundraiser to help with her medical expense. Makenzie was stricken with Astrocytoma of the spine, when she was two years old. She has had two surgeries on her spine and continues to receive chemo therapy and physical therapy at Duke University Hospital. She makes multiple trips to Duke each week for treatment.
