Armed robbery at Hardee’s
** Breaking News ** At approximately 2:40 p.m. today, officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at Hardee’s Restaurant located on the corner of Dabney Drive and Oxford Road in Henderson, North Carolina. No arrests have been made at this time. Home in Henderson hopes to have more details soon.

Hughes arrested for cyber-stalking
** Breaking News — Updated ** Home in Henderson has confirmed that Vance County Commissioner Scott Hughes was arrested on Saturday, October 10, 2009 on a warrant from Craven County for two misdemeanor counts of cyber-stalking. Hughes is accused of threatening a Craven County man and his wife with bodily harm in an email. The incident is alleged to have occurred on September 21, 2009.
