Word around the campfire is that the Vance County Board of Commissioners is going to re-solicit the Schedule of Values used to compute the re-evaluations for 2008 from Pearsons Appraisal Service. Presumably, the adoption of the originally intended schedule for rural/low use farmland will allow the current re-evaluations to stand, assessments that were discovered to be high when examined with the schedule that was originally approved.
