Vance-Granville Community College held a pinning ceremony for its 2017 Medical Assisting program graduates on Aug. 4 at the college’s Franklin County Campus in Louisburg, where the program is conducted. Microsoft Office Training Courses Scheduled at VGCC
Microsoft Office software training courses are set to be offered soon at Vance-Granville Community College, and grant funding from the NC TechHire program can help eligible area residents pay for them. VGCC Completes Renovation of Histotechnology Lab
A laboratory has been renovated to house the new Histotechnology program on Vance-Granville Community College’s Main Campus, the VGCC Board of Trustees was informed at its Monday, July 17, bi-monthly meeting. The renovation, which cost $15,230, was part of a project covering miscellaneous repairs and renovations on the college campus between Henderson and Oxford, according to Trustee Donald C. VGCC Celebrates First Graduates Supported By ‘VanGuarantee’ Scholarship

The Vance County Schools Nutrition Program is providing free meals again this summer to children in various programs in our county.
