Scammers are using this ploy to try to pry Social Security numbers and other private, confidential information from you or to sell you products. Henderson Store Robbery Suspect Caught
On Tuesday, April 28, 2015 members of the Henderson Police Department Patrol Operations Division responded to 929 West Andrews Avenue, Henderson in response to a reported robbery in progress. Officers arrived at “The Corner Store” and were told that they had been robbed and provided officers with video and a description of the suspect. There were no injuries reported during the robbery. New Round of Grants for Rural North Carolina
The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) approved 16 grants or loans on April 23, totaling more than $4.7 million with the commitment of 392 new jobs. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)/loans approved include: City of Thomasville, Davidson County: $120,000 loan for North American Implements Company to support the reuse of a vacant industrial building. Shooting on Bane Avenue in Henderson, Rewards Offered for Information
On Tuesday, April 28, 2015 members of the Henderson Police Department Patrol Operations Division responded to 1106 Bane Avenue in response to someone shot. Officers located Bakariek Leonard, 19, 1000 Foster Road, Henderson lying on the parking lot. Leonard was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The Kerr Lake Regional Water System (KLRWS) is comprised of the City of Henderson, Warren County, and the City of Oxford, and their customers. Henderson’s bulk customers include Kittrell, Vance County and Franklin County. Warren County’s bulk customers include Norlina, Warrenton and Littleton.
