Suspect Arrested from Weekend Shooting
On Sunday, August 24, 2014, members of the Henderson Police Department responded to Maria Parham Medical Center in response to a report of someone shot. When officers arrived, they discovered that Quincey Gregory was suffering from a serious gunshot wound. On Sunday, August 24, 2014, at 1:33 P.M., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to Maria Parham Medical Center in regards to someone shot. Officers found that Quincy Gregory, 29, 426 Ford Street, Henderson was suffering from a serious gunshot wound. Gregory had been transported to the hospital by private vehicle. Vance County Schools is joining public school systems across North Carolina in asking motorists to adhere to the “Stop Arm” signs on school buses and to stop their vehicles completely while students board and get off of school buses. On Friday morning, August 22, 2014 at approximately 6 a.m., members of the Henderson Police Department Operations Division were dispatched to the bridge on Dabney Drive that crosses over Interstate 85.
