A nightmare before Christmas?

Black Friday started as soon as possible this year as retailers hope to pull out of the current economic slump. At Walmart, customers were queuing up before 1:00 a.m. to wait for deeply discounted laptop computers and flat-screen televisions, among other items, to go on sale at 5:00 a.m.
