Robbery in Grocery Store Parking Lot Over Weekend

On Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 7:38 P.M. officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to the parking lot of Food Lion, 1650 N. Pharmaceutical Manufacturer to Create 123 Jobs in Guilford County, N.C.

RALEIGH — Governor Pat McCrory and N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced that Qualicaps Inc., a manufacturer of gelatin capsules, will expand its facility in Guilford County.   The company plans to create 123 jobs and invest more than $26 million over the next three years in Whitsett.  The project was made possible in part by a performance-based grant from the One North Carolina Fund of up to $235,000. Daquan Ortiz, Corey Cheek Arrested in Shooting Death of 17 Year Old Thursday

On Thursday, February 21, 2013, officers of the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Davis Street and Nicholas Street in Henderson in response to gunfire.
