Vance-Granville Community College is currently registering students for Medical Terminology, the first of four courses in the Medical Coding certificate program. Tanya S. Weary of Oxford has been named the Director of the Small Business Center at Vance-Granville Community College. Weary joined the college after working for the past 12 years with the City of Oxford. During the last three years of her tenure with the City, she served as the Downtown Development Director. Environmental Entrepreneurs’ (E2) recently released report on clean energy job creation in the first quarter of 2012 notes that 46,000 jobs in clean energy could be on America’s horizon if all announcements reach their potential.
