On June 3, 2010, officers of the Henderson Police Department’s Operations Division received a report of a larceny of a laptop computer from the Aycock Recreation Center at 307 Cary Chapel Road.

Purdue announces grant funds for HPD
North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue announced in a letter to the Henderson Police Department dated May 28, 2010 that the department has been awarded grant funding for the 2010-2011 state fiscal year from the NC Governor’s Crime Commission for two projects.

Police make arrest in Lone St. shootings
Patrick Lebraska McLeod, arrested for shootings of Hassan Terry and Derek Perry On June 2, 2010 members of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division arrested Patrick Lebraska McLeod, 22, for second degree murder in relation to the death of Hassan Terry of 512 Lone Street, Henderson, and assault with deadly weapon intent to kill inflicting serious injury for the injuries that occurred to Derek Perry.
