Pick of the day: girl’s night
Don’t forget Girl’s Night at the Raleigh Road Drive-In tonight. Girls between the ages of five to seventeen are invited and must be accompanied by a chaperone. A PG movie will be shown. Assembly passes $18.9 billion budget
Raleigh — The N.C. General Assembly gave final approval to an $18.9 billion state budget for 2006-07 on Thursday, and now legislators are shifting their attention to finishing up other legislative work before adjourning for the year.

Frazco robbed, suspect apprehended
At 4:49 p.m. Monday afternoon, Henderson police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Frazco, Inc. offices located at 315 S. Garnett Street.
