It’s amazing how every two years everyone with a campaign committee, an interested reporter, or a television camera in their face suddenly becomes fascinated with the idea of improving education. I’m wondering when he’ll mount the “It’s in the dictionary!” defense that got me exactly nowhere with Charles Dickens-reading grammarian of a mother when I tried to start saying “ain’t” at home. Homicide Case On September 26, 2010 at approximately 3:04 a.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division respond to a call regarding shots fired in the area of Arch Street and Chavasse Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina.
