Sandra Wilkerson Honored with Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award
Newly retired Henderson Finance Director Sandra Wilkerson was honored by Mayor O’Geary and the City Council for her 32 years of service to the City with a plaque and a handshake. Henderson Gives Dabney Study the “Go-Ahead.”
The City Council voted Monday night to approve asking the state DOT to conduct a feasibility study which would examine the possibility of expanding Dabney Drive into two one-way streets, with Corbitt Road and parts of the former railway line forming semi-parallel alternate avenues. Water Service to Require Security Deposit

During the August 8 meeting, Council members unanimously agreed that, starting November 10, any Henderson water customer more than 30 days late paying their water bill will have their service discontinued.
