Chief K.L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on the address of 324 Gary Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

On April 8, 2010 around 4:00 p.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department received a call in reference to a vehicle, a 1994 Honda Accord, which had just been stolen from the parking lot of JJ’s Fish and Chicken located at 1202 E. Andrews Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina.

On April 5, 2010 officers with the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to Belk’s, 350 North Cooper Drive in Henderson, North Carolina, in reference to a shoplifter.

Strong Arm Robbery On February 19, 2010, at about 9:23 p.m. a victim reported that a Hispanic male robbed her at the Video Shack on 1019 E. Andrews Ave.

On March 30, 2010 Phillip Wayne Coley was apprehended in Sharpsburg, North Carolina on six outstanding warrants for obtaining property by false pretenses in relation to a telephone scam asking the elderly for money to assist a stranded family member.

Chief K.L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit performed a search warrant on the address on 430 John Street in Henderson, North Carolina on March 26, 2010.

On March 26, 2010 around 9:20 a.m., officers with the Henderson Police Department received a report that two subjects, one wearing a red shirt, and one wearing a black shirt, had attempted to break into the residence of 325 Pearl Street.

On March 18, 2010, members of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division apprehended Antavious Green, 18, at his residence at 1400 Lehman Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

Robbery On February 22, 2010 at about 9:45 p.m. a resident of Brick Street reported that two black males had robbed him at gun point in his home.

On March 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to 326 Gary Street in reference to a subject who had been shot.

On March 7, 2010 at 12:12 a.m. members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 548 W. Spring Street in reference to a subject who had allegedly been shot.

On March 7, 2010 at 2:08 p.m. members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 800 block of Harriett Street in reference to a subject who had shot into an occupied vehicle.

On February 17, 2010 at 10:01 p.m. members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a residence at 607 McBorne Street concerning a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

Chief K.L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department Narcotics Unit conducted investigations that led to the federal sentencing of the following:

On March 2, 2010 Anthony Darby, 52, of 1403 Ross Mill Road in Henderson, North Carolina was arrested and charged with resisting, delaying, and obstructing a government official.

On February 25t, 2010 members of the Henderson Police Department’s Highway Traffic Safety Unit (HTSU) conducted a traffic stop on 1-85 South.

On February 26, 2010 around 9:17 a.m. units with the Henderson Fire Department were dispatched to Henderson Middle School, 219 Charles Street, in reference to signs of smoke.

Chief K. L. Sidwell reports that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit conducted multiple search warrants at the addresses of 2209 and 2215 Oxford Road in Henderson North Carolina.

On February 10, 2010, a Henderson resident reported being assaulted and robbed.
