$782,512 Contract Awarded to Replace Franklin County Bridge
RALEIGH — A $782,512 contract has been awarded by the N.C. Department of Transportation to replace the bridge on Seven Paths Road over Cypress Creek, southeast of Louisburg. The 63-year-old structure is considered structurally deficient, which means it is still safe, but requires continual maintenance and eventually needed to be replaced. Vance-Granville Community College hosted admissions officers from four-year colleges and universities on Nov. 27 in the student lounge on VGCC’s Main Campus. Vance-Granville Community College held a “Native American Appreciation Day” in the Civic Center on the college’s Main Campus on Nov. 26, during the national celebration of Native American Heritage Month.
