The House and the Senate moved nearer to a final budget deal this week, with members of both chambers agreeing to take over the full cost of the non-federal share of Medicaid.

Just a reminder that the filing period for Henderson municipal elections begins at 12:00 p.m. on July 6 and ends on July 20 at 12:00 p.m. The election this year will be held on October 9. If a runoff is needed, it will be held on November 6.
