Board of ed. to meet for budget work session
The Vance County Board of Commissioners will hold a budget work session on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center, 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina. The purpose of the session is to work on the 2010-2011 capital outlay budget.

Fish fry fundraiser for Dunn scholarship fund April 19
Raymond M. Dunn There will be a fish fry fund raiser Monday, April 19, 2010 at 220 Seafood Restaurant to raise money for the Raymond M. Dunn Scholarship Fund from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Dunn, a student of Criminal Justice and a basketball player for Vance-Granville Community College collapsed during a basketball game on February 20, 2010.
