Vance County Schools Bus Driver Training
Vance County Schools will be hosting school bus driver training sessions Thursday, June 16, Friday, June 17, and Monday, June 20, at L.B. Yancey Elementary School. Interested persons must attend the training on all three days to receive certification. We will only be training individuals to drive school buses. Trustees approve Simulation & Game Development for VGCC
The Vance-Granville Community College Board of Trustees brought the Simulation and Game Development curriculum under the college’s Information Technology Program at its bimonthly meeting on Monday, May 16. Teachers in Vance County Schools attended a conference designed to train beginning educators April 15-17, at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City. The conference, entitled “Lighting the Way for Beginning Teachers,” was sponsored by the Collaborative to Support Initially Licensed Professionals. The keynote speakers were N.C. Sen. Possible Domestic Dispute Ends Fatally, Rewards Offered for Information
On May 15, 2016, at approximately 4:00 AM officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to 1524 Dabney Drive in reference to a person who had been shot.
