Students in the Carpentry program at Vance-Granville Community College recently started work on their second project in partnership with Granville County Habitat for Humanity. North Carolina attracts record visitor spending
Gov. Pat McCrory announced on Monday that North Carolina tourism generated record visitor spending in 2015 with a total of $21.9 billion, a 2.7 percent increase compared to 2014, which outpaced the national average for growth last year of only 2.1 percent. Vance County Schools will pilot its new Access Control System at six schools beginning on Monday, May 16, 2016.
